Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to create accounts, deliver messages, support file sharing, and keep sessions secure. That typically includes your name, email address, device data, and limited usage metadata.
We do not read message content to build profiles, target ads, or sell behavioural insights. Why would a secure messenger betray the trust it exists to protect?
Your data is used to run the service, verify identity, manage groups, deliver notifications, and support the features you actively turn on. Nothing is repackaged for advertising.
We also use logs to detect abuse, investigate incidents, and improve reliability. That’s it. No hidden detours, no data brokerage, no mining for side projects.
We do not sell your information. Period. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform under strict confidentiality controls, or when the law requires it.
If we receive a lawful request where notice is permitted, we’ll try to notify affected users. Transparency should be the default, not a bonus feature.
You can configure retention where the product allows it. By default, items in trash are removed after 30 days, unless legal obligations or account recovery needs require a longer hold.
Deleted content is handled with the same care we’d expect for our own records. If the system can purge it, it will. If law requires us to retain it, we’ll document why.
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, portability, restriction, or erasure of personal data. We’ll verify requests carefully, then respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
If you’re acting on behalf of a company, we may ask for proof of authority. Fair enough, right?

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and any policies referenced here. If something doesn’t fit your organisation, stop and ask before rolling it out.
You’re responsible for keeping your account secure, using multi-factor authentication where available, and protecting credentials from unauthorised access. Shared logins sound convenient, until they aren’t.
Don’t use the platform for illegal activity, spam, malware, harassment, or abuse. We may suspend or terminate accounts that put other users, our infrastructure, or the law at risk.
University Link owns the platform, software, and brand assets. You keep ownership of your content and receive only the rights needed to operate the service you’ve subscribed to.
We work hard to keep the service dependable, but no platform can promise perfection. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, which helps us stay focused on building rather than posturing.
We may suspend or terminate access for breaches, security concerns, or legal requirements. These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA, and disputes are handled under that framework.
